1. Who operates PopularPolls
PopularPolls is operated by Meghashyam Bhandary in Karnataka, India (“PopularPolls”, “we”, “us”). The service lets creators publish polls and lets participants submit single-choice, rank-order, and tier-list responses.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of accepting these Terms to create polls, vote, upload images, add options, or comment. Your signed-in account identifies your polls, votes, and comments. Do not impersonate another person or misuse another person’s account.
3. Polls, options, images, and comments
You may publish only content you are lawfully entitled to use. Do not post unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, deceptive, defamatory, privacy-invasive, or copyright-infringing material. Do not expose private contact details or other sensitive personal data. These rules also apply to user-added options, images, and comments.
Poll creators are responsible for the questions and options they publish. Participants are responsible for their comments and any options they add. We may remove content, restrict access, or suspend features when reasonably necessary for safety, rights protection, legal compliance, or service integrity.
4. Voting integrity
PopularPolls is designed to count one response per signed-in account for each poll. Do not manipulate results through additional accounts, automation, scripts, coordinated abuse, or attempts to bypass voting controls. Results reflect participating users and are not scientific surveys unless the poll creator separately establishes an appropriate methodology.
5. Editing and deletion
Creators may edit eligible poll content subject to the restrictions shown in the product. Text may be locked after votes are cast to protect result integrity, while image changes may remain available. Deleting a poll permanently removes its options, votes, and comments. Participants cannot retract or edit a submitted ballot unless the product explicitly provides that feature.
6. Visibility and sharing
Poll questions, options, images, aggregate results, creator names, and comments may be visible to people who can access the poll. Share images and copied links are intended for posting on other services; your use of those services is governed by their terms. Keep access restrictions in mind before sharing a poll link or exported image.
7. Intellectual property
You retain rights in content you lawfully submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate and improve PopularPolls and provide sharing features. You retain responsibility for obtaining any required permission. We retain rights in the PopularPolls software, branding, design, and original service materials.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or permanent storage. We may correct errors, perform maintenance, change features, apply reasonable limits, or discontinue parts of the service. Important changes to these Terms will be dated on this page and apply prospectively.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Polls and results express user opinions and may be incomplete, biased, inaccurate, or offensive. PopularPolls does not endorse user content or guarantee that results represent a wider population. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from user content, result interpretation, external sharing, or service interruption. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with jurisdiction in Karnataka will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer law. Use the Feedback page for product concerns, rights requests, or complaints.
